Reminder:

When calling in an absence for your child, please explain the reason why he/she is not at school. Without a reason, your child will have an unexcused absence on his/her attendance. Thank you!

Welcome to TK and Kindergarten!

 

  • Your child must turn 5 years old, with their birth date falling between September 2, 2012 - December 2, 2012 to be eligible for Transitional Kindergarten enrollment 
  • Your child must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2017 to be eligible for Kindergarten enrollment (no exceptions)

 ¨ You must have the following documents to register your student:

· Official Legal Birth Certificate  -  government issued certificate by the county in which the child was born

· Proof of Residency in the Mother Lode Union School District  -   Utility bill (gas, electric, water, trash) rental agreement, escrow bill, etc.  

· Current Immunization Record  -  student must have a current immunization record (required immunizations are listed on the registration packet). 

Please come to our school office to pick up an enrollment packet.

New Immunization Requirements for 2017

Under a new law known as SB 277, beginning January 1, 2016 exemptions based on personal beliefs will no longer be an option for the vaccines that are currently required for entry into child care or school in California.

 

Most families will not be affected by the new law because their children have received all required vaccinations. Personal beliefs exemptions on file for a child already attending child care or school will remain valid until the child reaches the next immunization checkpoint at kindergarten (including transitional kindergarten) or 7th grade.
